Ignoring story of Hunter Biden scandals is partisan politics
There’s a reason the mainstream media is suffering a credibility crisis.
In addition to a neverending stream of #FakeNews stories targeting President Trump, look at how vastly differently it covers politicians and their families based on political affiliation — and ignores dirty deeds that warrant scrutiny when they are in the right party.
Take Hunter Biden, the troubled son of Democratic front-runner Joe Biden. Thanks to unethical media barely covering his flagrant escapades and long history of drug and alcohol addiction, the average voter is unaware of the 2016 incident when workers at a rental car agency in Arizona called the cops after finding a cocaine pipe in Hunter’s vehicle along with a baggie of a white substance.
Nor do most voters know about the times “Uncle Joe’s” son bought crack from a homeless camp or got booted from the Navy for cocaine. But that’s not all the corrupt media is sweeping under the rug.
The Democratic frontrunner’s son also abused his now ex-wife not only with decades of his substance abuse throughout their 23year marriage and the trauma that brings to a family but also the extramarital affairs —including a sexual relationship with his brother’s wife — after his brother Beau died of brain cancer in 2015.
But that’s not all the left wing punditry is burying on its nightly newscasts.
Hunter’s ex-wife Kathleen, mother to his three daughters, filed a motion in Washington, D.C., Superior Court a few years back seeking to freeze his assets, claiming that he “created financial concerns for the family by spending extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs, and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations), while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills,” reports the New
Yorker.
Adding to the dumpster fire is reports Joe Biden’s son allegedly cheated on his dead brother’s widow with a stripper whom he impregnated — then denied the baby was his — until a paternity test proved otherwise.
Now imagine the headlines if Hunter’s last name was Trump. There would be a media frenzy with wall-towall coverage telling voters how immoral the Trump family is, with a blow-byblow account of how horribly Trump men mistreat women, reigniting a “War on Women” political narrative — on steroids.
Establishment media would also be doing a deep dive into their financial dealings with foreign governments and shady corporations, but since Hunter Biden is the son of a Democratic front-runner they’re uninterested in the $50,000 a month he was curiously paid by a sketchy Ukraine natural gas company while his father was vice president and the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine.
To say we’re living in an age of media bias is a Goliath understatement. It’s media malpractice like we’ve never seen before.
Truly frightening.
