Press needs to turn up heat on Biden
Mr. Biden, did you ever meet with Tony Bobulinski?
That is a simple question reporters could ask incoming President Joe Biden the next time he holds an audience.
And that is what his rare and scripted meetings with reporters are — audiences, not press conferences.
Reporters are kept at a distance and are nothing more than willing props who, in unspoken agreement, do not ask probing questions, but run with the pap they are fed.
If a reporter is recognized at one of these Biden audiences, you can rest assured that the “reporter” will be from a friendly outlet like the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN and Politco, and not from aggressive Fox News or the New York Post.
And it is understandable if you, the average citizen, do not know who Bobulinski is because he and his information about Biden and his family’s business dealings with Chinese communists have been ignored, mocked or buried by the pro-Biden establishment press.
Not only does the antiDonald Trump media, as well as Facebook and Twitter, not want to know about it, but they want you kept in the dark as well. That is why the story was buried during the presidential campaign, and why it is buried now.
If China Joe can get away with avoiding tough questions about his family getting rich from Chinese payoffs to son Hunter Biden peddling his father’s name in the past, just wait until Biden gets to the White House. He will be even more cocooned than he is now.
It is simply astonishing that no reporter has asked Biden about the Bobulinski meeting, or about Hunter Biden’s business relationship with Bobulinski.
The closest anyone came to raising the Hunter Biden issue was Peter Doocy of Fox News. And he had to shout the question at Biden after Biden ignored him at a press audience.
Did Biden still think the allegations against Hunter were Russian disinformation as he had during the campaign?
“Yes. God love you, man, you’re a one-horse pony, I tell you,” Biden replied, no doubt intending to say, a “one trick pony,’ meaning that Doocy had repeatedly shouted the question at him before.
But hard hitting, objective journalism is largely a thing of the past. Reporters these days are agenda driven left wing activists who protect and prop up fellow travelers and wreck and ruin those who are not.
In the old days, Biden would have been asked about the two brain aneurysm operations he underwent 30 years ago and if they had any effect on his speech or thought process today.
No reporter has raised the issue with Biden. But just imagine what the same reporters would have done had Trump undergone similar brain surgery
The Bobulinski matter is important because Bobulinski, a former Navy officer, was involved with Hunter Biden and the Biden family in the family’s business dealings with the Chinese.
Biden has insisted that he knew nothing about Hunter Biden’s deals with wealthy Chinese businessmen, let alone with Ukrainian and Russians dealmakers.
Biden said, “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother, or with anyone else, anything having to do with their business. Period.”
But Bobulinski, an international businessman, was Hunter Biden’s partner in one $10 million China deal, from which 10% was going to the “big guy” — allegedly, Joe Biden. And he said Biden’s comment was “false.”
“I have firsthand knowledge about this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden,” Bobulinski said.
Bobulinski said he met with Joe Biden on May 2, 2017, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles the night before Biden was to speak at a global investors conference. He said he was introduced to Joe Biden by Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s brother Jim.
He said that the Bidens requested the meeting. So he met with Joe Biden even as he raised questions about the propriety of using the vice president’s name in the business deal. He said Jim Biden laughed and replied, ”plausible deniability.”
He said he and Joe Biden “discussed the Biden’s history, the Bidens’ family business plans with the Chinese, with which he was plainly familiar, at least at a high level.”
