DANDY DOZEN FOR DIVISION 5-6
JACK APPLEBAUM, Sr., OL, 6-3, 285, Medway: With some transfer losses, Medway will look to this talented lineman to help lead the way this year.
XAVIAH BASCON, Sr., RB/DB, 5-9, 150, Swampscott: A threat any time he touches the ball, Bascon will be someone to watch this year.
JOHNNY BENNETT, Sr., RB, 5-11, 175, DoverSherborn: The reigning TVL Small Offensive Player of the Year, Bennett will be called upon many times this season.
DAVID BROWN, Jr., DB, 5-9, 160, St. Mary’s: Basketball might be his calling card down the road, but Brown has proven himself to be no slouch on the gridiron.
CADENCE CHASE, Sr., RB, 6-1, 175, Fairhaven: Chase had little trouble adjusting to new coach Derek Almeida’s run-oriented attack last year.
MATT CHILDS, Jr., RB, 6-0, 195, Medway: Childs was one of the most productive backs in the TVL as a sophomore and that trend should continue this season.
GAVIN ELDER, Sr., QB, 5-11, 180, Bellingham: The key to Bellingham’s run to the TVL Small title, Elder completed 63-of-93 passes for 1,136 yards and 12 touchdowns
PETER GODFREY, Sr., OL, 6-6, 290, Stoneham: Bob Almeida has coached plenty of good linemen and says Godfrey belongs in the conversation as one of the best.
WILL LECLAIR, Sr., QB, 6-1, 170, Archbishop Williams: Even in a shortened Fall 2 season, LeClair threw for more than 1,000 yards.
PATRICK MORIN, Sr., RB, 5-8, 150, Sandwich: One of the more productive backs in the Cape and Islands League last year, expect more of the same.
CAM O’BRIEN, Sr., QB, 6-0, 205, Swampscott: A three-sport athlete, O’Brien is primed to put up some big numbers in the Northeastern Conference.
DYLAN TIMMONS, Sr., LB, 6-0, 190, Shawsheen: A four-year mainstay for Al Costabile, Timmons should be one of the top two-way players in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference this fall.
