Odds and ends

▪ Captain Patrice Bergeron said there were no team meetings or edicts to get the B’s to their 100 percent vaccination rate now.

“I think everyone was on board and did it organically, for their own beliefs and their own families,” said Bergeron...

▪ Bergeron is one of Canada’s most decorated international players, having won gold at the World Juniors, World Championships, Olympics (twice) and the World Cup. But while he said he’d relish the chance to represent the maple leaf again in Beijing, he knows a spot on the perennial favorite squad is not guaranteed.

▪ After undergoing physicals on Wednesday, the B’s will hit the ice on Thursday at Warrior Ice Arena, with two sessions at 10 a.m. and noon.
