-

A federal judge has ordered the disgraced former mayor of Fall River to repay more than $300,000 to investors he was convicted of defrauding in a smartphone app venture, according to court records.

The former Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia was convicted last May on a host of charges, including 11 counts of defrauding investors. He was also convicted of extorting money from marijuana companies who wanted to do business in the city.

Correia, 29, was sentenced last week to six years in prison and three years of probation. He maintains his innocence.
