Flag flying

The flagpoles in front of City Hall are city of Boston property — that gives the city of Boston the right to decide which flags go up and which flags don’t.

With the Supreme Court taking up this case, Hal Shurtleff is hoping to force the city of Boston to fly the Camp Constitution flag.

The city of Boston is free to decide without the Supreme Court getting involved in the decision-making process.
