Attack corners

-

The Bucs currently have the NFL’s worst pass defense, allowing 338.3 passing yards per game.

Part of that is due to injury. Sean Murphy-Bunting was placed on injured reserve with a dislocated right elbow Sept. 20, and Jamel Dean, their third cornerback, left Sunday’s game against the Rams with a knee injury in the first quarter and did not return.

He’s not a sure bet to play today.

Behind Dean, Tampa Bay has signed street free agents to plug holes in their depth chart, most recently inking 33-year-old Richard Sherman, who is not expected to play.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford sure took advantage of the Bucs woes in the secondary en route to beating them last week.

Nelson Agholor, Jakobi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne should see an uptick in targets.
