Timeline of rampage

- — JOE DWINELL

Edwin Alemany terrorized three young women in South Boston on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in what was called a “horror story” at his trial. Amy Lord, 24, was murdered and two other women also in their early 20s attacked. All details from court records:

4:23 A.M. — Alemany hits one woman in the jaw as she was walking to work in South Boston, dragging her into a parking lot where he “choked” her and told her: “Bitch, just know that you’re going to die today.” She ran and kept running to work.

5:38 A.M. — Amy Lord is attacked outside her Southie apartment, is forced into her car, and taken to five different ATMs to withdraw $960 from her bank account. Alemany takes her to a secluded area where he took off her clothes, beat her, stabbed her over 40 times, strangled her and left her naked body lying on an isolated path.

10:30 P.M. — Back to Southie after spending Lord’s money and partying with friends, becoming drunk.

Around midnight — Alemany stabs another South Boston woman outside her apartment five times in the arm, two times in her left breast, her left rib once, and the left side of her face. She screamed for help and kicked the defendant. One of her kicks knocked the defendant over, and he fled. A roommate recognizes him at the hospital and alerts the police. Alemany is arrested.
