Bus-cruiser crash sends 3 to hospital
A crash between a Boston school bus and police cruiser sent two cops and a child to the hospital, authorities say.
The crash took place just before 1 p.m. Friday on Dorchester Street at Old Colony Avenue in South Boston, according to the Boston Police Department.
The school district said one child was on board the bus, and was taken to the hospital, but isn’t seriously injured.
A district spokesman said the student’s parent was called and got to the scene before EMS transported the child.
Two police officers were in the cruiser, and both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injures.
Little other information about the circumstances of the crash were available. The investigation continues.
