An All-American in the pentathlon with her sixth-place finish at New Balance Nationals, Rubio was the state champion in both the pentathlon and high jump, and captured gold in the high jump and long jump in Div. 4. She was third in the high jump and long jump at New Englands and had personals bests of 5-5 3/4 and 18-1. Rubio is a member of the National Honor Society.
