High fuel costs

I can’t stand it. Gayla Cawley, (“T gets soaked by diesel,” 5/13) is perpetuating a lie. Her opening sentence stated, “Spiking fuel prices driven by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine …” is subtle propaganda. Keep telling the same lie over and over again and people will begin to believe it. The reason for high fuel prices is because the United States moved from energy independence to energy dependence under the Biden administration. Fuel costs would not be skyrocketing if the U.S. was not handcuffed with Green Energy regulations.
