Bruins report card
Another Bruins season is in the books, and it was another year in which the B’s fell short of their goals.
Exactly how far away they were from a Stanley Cup cannot really be determined until we see how far the team that beat them in seven games, the Carolina Hurricanes, is able to advance. But a first round exit is never palatable.
Still, there was a lot of good before the ultimately distasteful exit and the whole has to be considered when making overall evaluations.
So without further ado, here are the Herald’s end-of-season grades. Keep in mind that everything is taken into account — regular season, playoffs, expectations, salary and the rest.
