Mariano’s 30 leads New Mission

BOYS BASKETBALL

It was a Super Sunday for the BC High.

Matt Draheim poured in 22 points as the Eagles upset Newton North 54-48 in a nonleague contest Sunday afternoon in Newton.

In other nonleague action, Lorenzo Carrara scored 21 points and Danny Edgehille added 14 as Xaverian defeated King Philip, 58-50.

Hunter Henry scored 22 points as Reading (10-6) defeated Woburn 75-43 in the Middlesex Liberty.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cyndea Labissiere scored 19 points and Woburn (15-11) allowed just 11 second-half points in defeating Lexington 47-32 in the Middlesex Liberty.

Amy Mariano scored 30 points as New Mission (12-8) defeated Fenway 51-44 in the Boston City League.

BOYS HOCKEY

Brady Quackenbus­h stopped all 30 shots he faced as Marshfield defeated Canton in a consolatio­n game in the Ed Burns Coffee Pot tournament. … Dillon O’Reilly scored twice as Burlington doubled up on Waltham, 4-2. … Kane Salfity made 22 saves for the shutout as Weymouth defeated Natick, 2-0.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Adrianna Kelsch scored twice as Sandwich clinched the Cape and Islands League Atlantic Division title with a 5-0 win over Falmouth.
