Kat Cheesebro scored 24 points, including the 1,000th of her career, as Dartmouth (6-0) defeated Greater New Bedford 71-37 in a nonleague contest.
Reese Bartlett had 19 points, eight rebounds and three assists as Bridgewater-Raynham (4-0) defeated Brookline 44-25 in the A&A Metro Trojan Holiday Classic. … Shannon Welburn scored 11 points to lead Wellesley to a 44-18 victory over Westwood.
Abby Strong led the way with 22 points and 12 rebounds as Reading (4-1) won 57-30 over Newburyport
in the consolation match of the Friends of Reading Tournament.
BOYS BASKETBALL In South Coast Conference action, Will Horton recorded 17 points while Nathan Levesque grabbed 15 rebounds to pace Apponequet (3-2) to a 53-45 victory over West Bridgewater. BOYS HOCKEY
In the South Shore League, Nolan Petrucelli scored twice and added an assist as Norwell tripled up Cohasset/Hull 6-2.
In a nonleague matchup, Alan Weitzman scored twice while Brady Forde added a goal and an assist as Masconomet (5-2) doubled Stoneham, 4-2. … Jack Lee and Finn Murphy each scored three goals as Woburn rolled to an 8-3 win over Medford. … Joey Towle scored twice as Medway doubled up on St. John Paul, 4-2.
GIRLS HOCKEY
Ivorie Arguin and Kaitlyn Ondrick both finished with a pair of goals and an assist while Lily Hayes added three assists to lead Pope Francis (4-2-1) to a 5-1 victory over Beverly/Danvers.
Ella Spinazola scored both goals as Woburn edged Acton-Boxboro, 2-1.
Ella Skieber had two tallies as Pembroke upended Norwell/Scituate/Abington 5-3 in the first round of the Judy Gormley Cup.
WRESTLING
Shawsheen won all four meets at the super quads in Milford, including a 4529 win over Milford, the defending Div. 2 state champion. The Rams also beat Andover (51-18), Springfield Central (45-12) and Coventry (46-15). Sidney Tildsley and Nate Malandain led the way as they went 4-0 on the day.
