Gonzalez (25 points) sparks Lynn Tech past KIPP, 68-56

Ederick Gonzalez (25 points, five rebounds, three assists), Giovanni Jean (16 points, seven rebounds, three assists) and Jayden Welch (16 points, eight rebounds) fueled Lynn Tech (12-2) in a 6856 Commonweal­th Athletic Conference boys basketball victory over KIPP.

Matt Delcore (21 points), Gerald Ellison (15 points) and Jacob Derochea (10 points) paced Pembroke (10-5) in a 62-60 Patriot League win over Quincy.

In nonleague action, Harry Miles poured in 20 points, and Nick Barnes scored 17 points as St. John’s (Shrewsbury) bested Doherty, 70-53. … Jono Windle (11 points) drained the winning bucket to lift Dover-Sherborn (10-7) to a 47-46 Tri-Valley League win over Medway. Mason Melchionda collected 12 points for the Raiders.

Connor Pease (26 points, 11 rebounds), Tyler Staiti (17 points) and Kingston Maxwell (12 points, five rebounds, five assists) stepped up offensivel­y for Abington (12-5) in a 72-48 South Shore League win over Mashpee.

Girls basketball

Muji Vader scored 23 points, and Sabina Doyle tallied 15 points as Minuteman rolled to a 52-15 nonleague win over Notre Dame (Tyngsboro).

Addy Andrews and Sarah Chenette had 12 points each, and freshman Madison Hunter finished with nine points as Cohasset defeated Hull 5637 in South Shore League action. … Bella Rago made a pair of significan­t threepoint­ers and three free throws as Cardinal Spellman edged Bishop Stang 28-25 in the Catholic Central League.

Grace Fleuriel (13 points, 10 rebounds) and Reese Brodin (12 points, six steals) led the way as Winthrop beat Danvers 5739 in a Northeaste­rn Conference matchup. … Alyssa Hopps put up 13 points, while Niamh Gendron recorded 12 points and freshman Frankie Diaz notched nine points as Quincy (143) defeated Pembroke 5329 in the Patriot League.

Alyssa Adams (10 points), Julia Moura (nine points) and MacKenzie Hickey (eight points) boosted Tewksbury in a 53-22 Merrimack Valley Conference win over Lawrence.

Boys hockey

Shaun and Brendan Teehan combined to score three goals, and Nolan Gemmiti secured the shutout as Oliver Ames (8-6-1) routed Attleboro 6-0 in Hockomock League action.
