Avery Abate
Reading, senior
She was key to Reading’s programrecord team scores in the regular season, with the ability to score 9.0plus on every apparatus. The senior national team member finished fourth on floor exercise at State Individuals and 10th overall.
Gabriella Bresnick
Andover, junior
The junior finished third in the allaround at this year’s State Individual meet and won the Merrimack Valley Conference all-around title. She set two Andover records this season with a 9.6 bars score and a 38.1 all-around score.
Hannah Hall
Stoneham, senior
The Merrimack College-bound senior led the Stoneham team for four years. She finished third on beam and fourth on floor at New Englands, and was eighth in the all-around at State Individuals, including scoring a 9.6 on vault.
Devin Hazen
Burlington, junior
After a third-place finish last year, Hazen captured this year’s MIAA boys’ all-around title with a score of 47.2, with wins on the high bar (7.2) and still rings (8.0). The junior powered Burlington to the last two team titles.
Sophia Isbell
Reading, senior
Though injured for part of the season, the senior set Reading’s allaround, beam, and floor records, scored above 9.5 12 times, and won the Middlesex League all-around title. She will compete for Texas Woman’s University next season.
Ava Kelley
Barnstable, senior
She wrapped up her career with the Falmouth/Mashpee/Barnstable co-op, winning the Cranberry League all-around title, was the league’s Senior Gymnast of the Year, and took sixth in the allaround in the South and states.
Lorenzo Leary
Lowell, sophomore
He earned his second consecutive state championship on vault, and finished second in both the allaround and floor exercise. Dedicated, he powered through and kept competing even when he was the only Lowell representative left.
Madeline Migliero
Danvers, freshman
The Lynnfield freshman made a splash in her first year of high school gymnastics, finishing second in all-around at North Sectionals and fifth at states. With scores 9.5 and above this season, she was named a NEC/CAL All-Star.
Bella Misiura
Masconomet, junior
The junior fueled Masconomet’s fourth-straight state title and won the North Sectional all-around. The Illinois commit scored 9.5 or above more than 20 times, set the school’s bars record (9.9), and was a repeat NEC/CAL MVP.
Maggie Murphy
Westford, junior
Scoring a perfect 10 on vault, the junior set four school records this season, including a 9.8 on beam and a 38.4 in the all-around. The Dual County Gymnast of the Year, she was second all-around at State Individuals.
Katie Russo
Bridgewater-Raynham, senior
She bounced back from a torn meniscus to win the South all-around and team title. Russo finished fourth in the all-around at states. A three-time Cranberry champion, she will continue her gymnastics career at Rhode Island College.
Riley Salerno
Central Catholic, junior
She was the uneven bars champion at State Individuals and second in the all-around at New Englands as the Raiders won both North Sectionals and New Englands. She is involved in Gymnastics Medicine, a group studying injury prevention.
Kevin Theodoro
Framingham, senior
The captain was named Massachusetts Senior Gymnast of the Year by the coaches’ association. He broke the school’s floor exercise record (9.75) and won the apparatus at South Sectional. He will be a premed student at Vanderbilt.
Kaylee Wescott
Danvers, 8th grade
The team MVP as an eighth grader, Wescott was electric for the Falcons, finishing in a tie for second in the all-around at the state championship and third at the North sectional. She regularly scored above 9.5 on every apparatus.
Charlotte Woodbury
Groton-Dunstable, junior
This year’s Mid-Wach MVP and allaround champion, the junior led G-D/North Middlesex/Littleton to an undefeated season. The captain finished second in the all-around at South Sectionals, 10th at states, and qualified to New Englands.
Janey Young
Masconomet, freshman
A fabulous freshman for four-time state champion Masconomet, she was fifth in the North Sectional allaround and seventh in the state meet. An honor roll student, she didn’t miss a meet this season, and was named an NEC/CAL All-Star.
Divier Ramos
Methuen, sophomore
Helping Methuen qualify for North Sectionals for the first time in a decade, the sophomore set the school’s vault record with a 9.9, and won the apparatus at State Individuals, also placing second on bars and third on floor.
