MASON, Barbara E. (Earley)

Of Westwood, formerly of Osterville, MA and Palm City, FL, at the age 97, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 at home, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Mason, with whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Barbara leaves her sister, Kathleen V. Earley of West Yarmouth. Barbara was the loving mother of six children, Thomas E. Mason and his wife Anne, Kathleen M. Podolski and her husband Charles, Paul D. Mason and his wife Joyce, the late Mark J. Mason, Anne M. Ford and her husband Timothy, Mary Beth Johnson and her husband Eric. Grandmother of Ryan Mason (Melissa), Kevin Mason (Vicki), Justin Mason (Megan), Amy Podolski Chang (Allen), Daniel Podolski (Vanessa), Michael Podolski, Leah Mason, Benjamin Mason, T. Patrick Ford, Brian Ford (Molly), Colleen

Ford Phillips (Eric), Ian Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Davis Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a graduate of Regis College (class of 1948) and enjoyed an active life of golf, bridge, reading, puzzles and traveling, including living in Italy for a year with their young family.
