Robert L. Pann, of Delray Beach, FL, Cambridge, MA, and North Reading, MA, passed away on Jan 12th, 2024. Robert was born on Feb 23rd, 1927, in Boston, Mass. Raised in Dorchester, he attended the Boston Trade School and was a veteran of the US Navy, having served honorably in the pacific during World War II. Founder of Robert L. Pann Plumbing, a respected business in the Boston area for many years. A mason for over half his life, he served as Potentate of the Shriners in 1992 and was an integral part of building the Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston. He was the Past Master of Mt. Olivet Lodge, and Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Masons in Massachuse­tts. He served on the Board of Governors at the Shriners Hospital for Children and was a founding member for the Transporta­tion Service at the Shriners Hospital for Children. He was a member of Ahavas Shalom of Saugus, MA, and Temple Beth Kodesh in Delray Beach, FL. He was also an active member of the Boca Raton Shrine Club of Boca Raton, Florida. Robert was an avid traveler, bowler, and golfer. He was also a philanthro­pist and supported numerous community endeavors. He will be missed by family and friends. Son of the late Maurice Pann and Molly Pann (Levine), brother of the late Shirley Jacobs (Pann) and husband of the late Sylvia Pann (Bloomberg). Survived by his sister Harriet Snyder (Pann), son Michael Pann; daughters Arlene Mackie (Peter) and Paula Emelock (Glen), and son David Pann (Phyllis); grandchild­ren Jordan Mackie (Danielle), Shaina Melville (Michael), Rachel Emelock, Aaron Emelock (Samantha), Samantha Pann, Adam Pann, Renee Pann, Alex Pann, Paula Ferrari; greatgrand­children Jacob Mackie and Xavier Canfield, and many nieces and nephews and good friends.

Visiting Hours: A funeral service for Robert will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 1:00PM at StanetskyH­ymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St, Salem 01970, MA with interment at Hadrath Israel Cemetery, MA-99, Melrose, MA 02176. Shiva will be held at Shiva will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 21 East Foster St, Melrose MA 02176 , Tuesday January 16th, 7-9pm, Wednesday January 17th, 3-5pm and 7-9pm, Thursday January 18th, 7-9pm.
