DEFENSEMEN Lane Hutson, US
Hutson, 19 and a sophomore at Boston University, averaged the most ice time for the US (23:58 per game), which allowed only 15 goals over seven games. Hutson compiled six assists and had a plus-8 rating for the tournament.
Theo Lindstein, Sweden
Lindstein, 19, was the top-scoring defenseman in the tournament with eight points (two goals, six assists). The Blues prospect (first-round pick in 2023) had a goal and an assist in Sweden’s 5-2 victory over Czechia in the semifinals.
FORWARDS Cutter Gauthier, US
Gauthier, 19, was one of seven Boston College players on the US roster. The Ducks prospect tied for the tourney lead with both 10 assists and 12 points, and the second of his two goals was a game-winner in the semifinals.
Jiri Kulich, Czechia
Kulich, 19, also finished the event with 12 points (six goals, six assists). Kulich, soon to be a Sabres staple, had two goals and two assists in Czechia’s comeback bronze-medal win in which it scored six unanswered goals (8-5 final).
Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Sweden
Lekkerimaki, 19, was voted the tournament MVP by the directorate. He matched the US’s Isaac Howard for the most goals with seven, including one in the final. Lekkerimaki was the Canucks’ first-round pick (No. 15) in 2022.
GOALKEEPER Hugo Havelid, Sweden
Havelid, 20, posted two shutouts in Group Play, including an impressive 2-0 blanking of Canada in which he made 21 saves. Overall, Havelid ranked second in the tourney in goals allowed per game (1.77) and save percentage (.917).
