Abigail Bettencour­t

Peabody, senior

The do-it-all setter compiled 469 assists, 138 kills, 92 aces, and 296 service points to lead the Tanners to an 18-3 record. The Brown University softball commit totaled 1,515 assists, 209 aces, and 406 kills in her career.

Giani Boerner

Newton South, sophomore

The team leader in kills (313), serve-receive, and serves, the sophomore hitter powered the Lions to a 16-4 record. The six-rotation player competes in beach volleyball and plays with the SMASH Volleyball Club.

Devon Burke

Newton North, junior

The junior hitter and Bay State AllStar led the Tigers to a second straight state title and a 25-1 record, rocking 336 kills and 32 aces. Burke earned MaxPreps Player of the Year honors for Massachuse­tts. She also plays basketball.

Lea Carangelo

Wakefield, senior

The creative setter put up 610 assists, 64 kills, and 44 aces, leading the Warriors to the Division 3 semifinals. The senior captain and class president finished with 1,028 career assists. She also competes in lacrosse and track.

Emmerson Cerasuolo

Haverhill, senior

As Merrimack Valley co-Player of the Year, the senior setter amassed 558 assists, 89 kills, 32 aces, 32 blocks, and 167 digs. Reaching 1,161 career assists, the Student Council vice president led the Hillies to a 19-2 record.

Molly Fredo

Barnstable, senior

The senior hitter and two-time Cape & Islands All-Star set the tone at the net with 296 kills, adding 97 digs, and 23 blocks on a deep Barnstable squad that put up a 23-3 record and reached the Division 1 state final.

Regan Gill

Bishop Feehan, senior

The senior setter racked up 567 assists, 209 digs, and 64 kills, reaching 1,032 assists in her career. Gill led the Shamrocks to a 19-4 record and a Division 1 quarterfin­al appearance. She’s also an honor roll student.

Chloe Heitman

Acton-Boxborough, junior Notching 316 kills, 55 aces, and 193 digs, the junior hitter led the Revolution to a 12-7 record and a Division 1 quarterfin­al berth. Heitman is a high honor roll student, a SMASH Volleyball Club player, and a skier.

Sarah Hilliard

Oliver Ames, senior

The senior hitter racked up 382 kills, 215 digs, and 40 aces, leading the Tigers to a 17-6 record and the D2 quarterfin­als, losing to the eventual champions. Hilliard has 1,045 career kills and will play volleyball at Bucknell.

Sadie Jaggers

Melrose, senior

The senior hitter played a major role in the Red Hawks going 20-5, smacking 312 kills and serving 93 percent. A National Honor Society student, the two-year captain was an MAVCA All-State selection and a Middlesex All-Star.

Maiwenn Kamdje

Wellesley, senior

The prolific senior hitter put up 335 kills and 44 blocks, leading the Raiders to the postseason. The Bay State Conference Carey MVP is focused on taking her game to the next level at Tufts, along with studying biology and singing.

Taylor Lacerda

Franklin, senior

It took multiple five-setters, but the senior and two-year captain came up clutch and led the Panthers to the Division 1 semifinals. The returning Globe All-Scholastic hitter compiled 240 kills, 303 digs, and 42 aces on the season.

Julia Leonardo

Attleboro, junior

The junior hitter (326 kills, 220 digs), reached 1,034 kills for her career with a year to go. Also the class council vice president, she was a MAVCA All-State selection, and led the Bombardier­s to a 15-7 record.

Lacey Murphy

Bishop Fenwick, senior

The senior middle hitter led the state in blocks with 106, adding 216 kills and 57 aces for the 16-4 Crusaders. She’s a member of the MAVCA All-State team, a CCL AllStar, and a National Honor Society student.

Soley Rodriguez Martinez

Canton, freshman

Making an immediate impact as a freshman, the libero racked up 291 digs and 74 aces for a Bulldogs team that won 24 games, their only loss in the Division 2 final. She made the MAVCA All-State and AllTournam­ent teams.

Tamlyn Shu

Medfield, senior

Anchoring a strong defensive team to the Division 2 finals, the senior libero had more than 250 digs, 50 assists, and 50 aces on 98 percent serving. The Tri-Valley League Large MVP also plays piano, violin, and guitar.

Jessie Wang

Andover, sophomore

The sophomore hitter made a huge jump, impacting everywhere on the court for the Golden Warriors (19-4). The high honors student compiled 309 kills and 62 aces. She also enjoys ice skating and plays for SMASH Volleyball.

Sadie Wellbelove­d

Barnstable, senior

The setter was the nucleus of a team that refused to let the ball land, adding 150 digs to her 733 assists (1,405 career). The MAVCA All-State senior led the Red Hawks to a 21-4 record and the Division 1 state final.
