Nile Fox

Division 1: Newton North

In three years, Fox has led the Tigers to a 65-5 record. Newton North won back-to-back championsh­ips, despite graduating the coPlayer of the Year after the first title. Fox is now a two-time Globe Coach of the Year.

Steve Mantegani

Division 4: Bellingham

Coaching the Blackhawks to their first state final appearance in 27 years, the eighth-year coach from Milford helped overcome the loss of a senior starter partway through the season. Bellingham went 20-4, with all four losses in five-setters.

Pat Cawley

Division 2: Canton

Leading an inexperien­ced team, Cawley coached the Bulldogs to a finals appearance, entering the championsh­ip undefeated. The MAVCA and New Agenda Northeast Hall of Famer has compiled a 287-77 record in 17 years.

Haley Kennedy-Cabral

Division 5: St. John Paul II

A two-time state champion at Barnstable High (’18), the fifth-year co-head coach teamed up with her sister, Shannon, to direct the Lions (15-7) to the Division 5 quarterfin­als. She is in the registered nurse program at Cape Cod CC.

Eileen Leblanc

Division 3: Weston

It took just three years of Leblanc’s tenure for the Wildcats to turn a

4-9 record into a 20-5 championsh­ip-winning team, earning

Weston its first title in program history in the process. She has a career mark of 121-42.

Shannon Kennedy-Cabral

Division 5: St. John Paul II

Teaming up with her sister, Haley, the fifth-year co-head coach guided the Lions (15-7) to the program’s first tournament win and the Division 5 quarterfin­als. Now a teacher, she was a two-time D1 volleyball champion at Barnstable (’17).
