EHRLICH, Mildred “Millie” (Schorr)

-

Of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Newton Centre, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024 - one day shy of her

96th birthday. For 59 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold L. Ehrlich. Loving mother of

Dr. Lisa Ehrlich of Portsmouth, NH; Debra Brush and her husband, Alan of Weston; and Dr. Marc Ehrlich and his wife, Judy of Boston. Adored grandmother of Jesse and Liza Brush, Carly Brush and Saul Kopelowitz, Michele and Eliot Walker, Lauren Ehrlich and Eric Forman and Harry Ehrlich. Great-grandmother of Nathan and Katie Brush, Eli and Noah Kopelowitz, Zoey and Ryan Walker and Ruby Forman. Cherished sister of Tanya and Harvey Weitz.

Millie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, surrounded by a large and supportive extended family. It was there she met and married Harold.

They settled in Newton and built a large group of close friends who shared their lives for decades. She was always gregarious and as her free time allowed, she did meaningful volunteer work at Dana-Farber, ORT and WOW, always helping others.

She will be sorely missed.
