UNDERHILL - Jean (Senesac) Danaher, 93, passed away August 13, 2023 at home surrounded by family, to be happily reunited with her beloved soulmate Edward and family that went before her.

She was born on July 7, 1930, in Morrisvill­e, VT, the daughter of Paul Emile Senesac and Marie Luce Mandeville. She grew up on the Senesac dairy farm on Malletts Bay Avenue. She attended the Sacred Heart Convent in Newport and graduated as a valedictor­ian from Mt. Saint Mary Academy in 1948. She married Edward F. Danaher in Mitchell, IN. in 1950 and welcomed their first child in 1951 then relocated to VT in 1952 and welcomed 10 more children. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Cambridge and was actively involved in church duties.

She is predecease­d by her husband Edward; her parents; brothers Armand, Real, Gaetan, and Emile; and sisters Teresa, Lucille, and Gilberte. She is survived by her siblings Roland Senesac of Colchester, Rachel (Paul) Steady of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mary ( Joseph) O’Kane of Burlington, and Margaret (Gerry) Roy of Colchester.

All of her children survive and celebrate her life. Christine (Dennis) Perham of Schenectad­y, NY; Edward (Kathy) of Underhill, Neal (Lois) of Shrewsbury; Shawn (Karen) of Jericho; Elizabeth (Rob) Borger of Tallahasse­e, FL; Frances of Barre; Matthew (Lori) of Shrewsbury; Myles (Sarah) of Brattlebor­o; Mitchell (Rose) of Trumbull, CT; Joel (Robin) of Essex and Martin (Betty) of Underhill. She was the proud grandmothe­r to 35 grandchild­ren and 50+ great grandchild­ren who affectiona­tely referred to her as GiGi.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 16, from 5pm to 7pm at the Ready Funeral Home Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, at 11:00am at St. Thomas Church in Underhill. Interment will be Monday, August 21, at 1:00pm at the VT Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph. The family requests donations be made to UVM Hospice or a Hospice of their choosing.
