PROJECT RAVEN It’s Time for TMI!

- Words and Photos by Chris Hamilton

THE TIME TO TMI HAS finally come for Project Raven. We knew right from the start that when we were ready for the interior, the only website we wanted to order from was TMI Products.

TMI makes high-value interior automotive components like seating, interior consoles, floor coverings, door panels, convertible roof assemblies, headliners and integrated electronic systems. The quality is exactly what most classic truck guys demand, and the customer experience is second to none. The crew works directly with you on style, colors and design so you get exactly what you expect. Installation is a breeze thanks to their made-in-house seat brackets, and maintenance is simple since they use such highquality materials.

In the last issue, Project Raven picked up a new steering wheel from Eddie Motorsports and gauges from Dakota Digital. Along with new Vintage Air A/C vents that mount to the dashboard, the interior was starting to look really nice. The seats were a lost cause though, and the carpet was cut in half when we had the shifter hole welded up in the floorboard. Luckily for us, this old truck was well maintained and hides no rust holes in the cab. So, a simple swap will give the inside of our 54-year-old truck an extreme makeover.

Let’s get started!

?? ?? If you remember, the original C10 interior in our ’65 Chevy C10 was extremely worn out and begging to be retired. We also switched from floor to column shifter, which gave us good reason to remove the old carpet.
