FINALLY, WE HAVE A Pro Touring race under our belts—a race that included live-event streaming and editorial coverage in the same weekend. It’s tough to take on new tasks, and when it’s in the public eye, criticism comes from every possible angle. This kind of feedback is expected, and so we take what we can and mold our process ever so slightly for a more engaging and enjoyable experience. Give it some time, and the process becomes so smooth that you actually look forward to each and every event.

But how does this benefit the hardcore readers who don’t have time to watch these events all weekend? Let us explain.

By teaming up with event promoters and getting in deep with clubs and builders around the country, we have the opportunit­y to dig even deeper into this great community and document the stuff you wouldn’t normally see. What does it take to enter these tight circles? How do these groups feel about random newbie questions? Sometimes the names you read about or the faces you see on videos may look larger than life and too intimidati­ng to approach, but with a few one-on-one conversati­ons and cold beers, most of the time they are just as easy to approach as you are.

Groups like the C10 Club have formed chapters all around the country, and their reputation of respect simply proves that if you have an interest in these trucks, you have a group of friends ready to help you make it happen.

Having the ability to open the rest of the industry to new fans young and old is our talent, and showing the “new guys” around the scene is what we do well. C10 trucks usually start off as a project and end up as a lifestyle. Luckily for all of us, this is a lifestyle that brings nothing but positivity and good times. Aside from those knuckle busting, parts not fitting, can’t find the right size socket so you throw your ratchet across the room moments of course. Build on!
