A TRUCK YOU CAN HANG YOUR HAT ON

Squarebody Syndicate Hosts a One-day Party to Get Their Engines Running

-

WITH ANY long lasting, fully custom project truck, there comes a point in every owner’s life where a crossroad between form and function come into play. Either keep it rugged and drive it every day, or make it pristine and pack it away. A lot of us start out with a goal in mind to drive our trucks as much as humanly possible. But after a few mishaps on the road or a couple close calls by careless drivers distracted on their cell phones, any classic truck owner will understandably grow evermore paranoid with each and every turn of the key.

With Project Raven, we reached a point of no return on an otherwise turnkey daily driver. The Fitech fuel injected crate 350 rumbles with intent, and the plush TMI interior with Dakota Digital gauges mixes modern with vintage in an extremely unique way. And the fact that this was all done by ordering some parts and swapping out some hardware to a bone stock ’65 Chevy C10. After bolting on all the aftermarket addons we could get our hands on, the only other option to make this truck stand out was to remove all that fake rust and lay down some smooth paint.

When it leaves the paint shop, it will be the same mean Chevy, just with a fancy new coat of color. A mix of blue and white will set the tone, but the chrome and plaid still define the details. We think you’re gonna love the outcome, so stay tuned!
