C10 Builder's Guide

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

- By Chris Hamilton

YOU GUYS ARE WILD! THE C10 community is an amazing group to be part of. The love and support we see shared and spoken at events and online is unlike any other tribe of truck enthusiasts on the planet. We speak the same language, we like the same entertainment and we all give praise to the almighty Chevy. It’s a strange bond we share so strongly with each other, yet is 100% absent from almost everyone else in our day to day lives. The real question isn’t, “Why do we love these trucks so much?” It’s, “Why don’t they live and breathe C10 trucks as well?” I mean really—what else is there to think about?

It’s actually funny to see some faces of a non-truck person listen to some of our conversations. When we talk about designing cool Watt’s links or converting a 383-stroker to run EFI and a hydroboost, their eyes tend to wander and tense up with confusion. You can get an outsider so lost in your technical words that they don’t even know when to stop you and re-explain. It’s a blast and I highly recommend you do it as often as possible. So satisfying!

Since we are all clearly like minded in so many ways, the team here at C10 Builder’s Guide is confident that you are going to love this issue. We packed it down with some really relatable yet enjoyable content for any level of C10 junkie. Whether you just bought your first Chevy or you have 20 years in the game, this book has something for you all, starting with that amazing ’82 Chevy that you saw on the cover. A massive wheel and tire buyer’s guide can help you though the selection process, and a tour behind the scene at All American Billet will open your eyes to the impressive operation they have running. All that and multiple feature stories, event coverage and some sweet tech! Let’s Go!
