CALHOUN REC DEPARTMENT YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION

— The Calhoun Recreation Department will be holding registration for Youth Basketball Oct. 1-26 for 7-8 Boys and Girls and 9-10 Boys and Girls. Registration will be held Oct. 1- Nov. 16 for 11-12 Boys and Girls, 13-14 Boys and Girls, and High School Division. Registration is $40. Registration will be held at the Calhoun Recreation Department Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Practices will begin the second week of November and games will start the second week of December. CALHOUN COMMUNITY EDUCATION BASKETBALL PROGRAM

— The CCS Community Education program will offer a basketball league for boys and girls ages 5-6. Registration deadline is Nov. 1 and a coaches meeting will be held in the Community Education office on Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. Practices will begin on Nov. 5, and games will be played on Sunday afternoons starting Nov. 20. — The Gordon County Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for the 2013 Basketball Season. Participants can start registering Oct. 8 – Nov. 5 at the Sonoraville Recreation Complex.
