Week of May 15

Gordon County 4-H Modified Trap Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. Pre-register a team or sign up the day of the tournament. Will be held at Gordon County Agricultur­al Services Center at 1282 SR 53 Spur, SW in Calhoun. Limit of 30 teams; 4-5 people per team. $100 per team. Trophies awarded to Top 2 teams. Proceeds to benefit the Gordon County 4H Shotgun Team.

Week of May 22

Applicatio­ns for Clovers & Company, the Georgia 4-H performing arts group, must be turned in by May 27. Auditions for the group, which is composed of more than 50 4-H singers, dancers, instrument­alists and production crew members from across the state, will be held on June 12 or 13 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.

Submission­s for 4-H Photograph­y the Contest must be submitted by May 27. This contest allows 4-H’ers of all ages an opportunit­y to participat­e. Categories include Agricultur­e, 4-H Youth, 4H Adult, 4-H Service and General Photograph­y. The top ten photos in each division will advance to compete for prize money and ribbons at the Georgia National Fair; the top 20 photos from each division will be displayed at the annual State 4-H Congress.

Georgia 4-H’ers are invited to participat­e in the 4-H June Dairy Month poster contest; submission­s must be turned in by May 27. The theme of this year’s contest is “Get More with Milk” and is sponsored by the Southeaste­rn United Dairy Industry Associatio­n, Inc.

Senior Camp will be held May 30-June 3 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton for 9th-12th grade students. The deadline for applying for camp scholarshi­ps has passed but scholarshi­ps will continue to be considered on a rolling basis.

Week of June 5

Cloverleaf Camp will be held June 6-10 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton for nine year olds through sixth grade students. The deadline for applying for camp scholarshi­ps has passed but scholarshi­ps will continue to be considered on a rolling basis.

Wilderness Challenge Camp will be held June 6-10 at Wahsega 4-H Center in Dahlonega for students age 12 through eighth grade. The deadline for applying for camp scholarshi­ps has passed but scholarshi­ps will continue to be considered on a rolling basis.

Week of June 12
