Seventh-day Adventist Church opens in Adairsville
Members and friends gathered at the Seventhday Adventist Church in Adairsville on Saturday, Oct. 27, for its grand opening. Extra chairs had to be put down for the overflow audience.
Kurt Allen, vice president of Finance of the Georgia- Cumberland Conference of Seventhday Adventists, was the speaker for the worship hour.
This is the first church building the group has owned since it first began meeting about 13 years ago. The group has rented or worshipped in various facilities through the years.
Dan Bramblett of DancoConstruction was the builder for the facility that is situated at 1193 Ga. Highway 140 in Adairsville.
The group meets each Saturday at 9:30 a.m. for Bible study and at 10:45 for the worship hour. Prayer meeting is each Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Friends and members of the community are welcome to attend any one of these services.
