TOBI Says, That is upside down

12:9, “My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Does it mean you are stronger if you are weaker? It really means that you are stronger when you trust the Lord Jesus and depend on His strength.

Many verses in the book of Psalms say the same thing. In Psalm 18 it says, “The Lord is my strength and my rock.”

In the book of Zechariah, in Chapter 4, the Bible says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” It is power of God doing things for you.

It is like the little kid trying to hit the ball. When dad has his arms around him, the youngster has to allow dad to do the work. The tighter the little one holds the bat, the less that dad can do.

What holds the Christian back is when they try to do it on their own. Their strength has limits. Pride gets in the way. Like the little kid that says “I can do it myself,” and everybody laughs.

God has a plan for you, but you must choose to follow it. The way that may seem strange will turn out to be the best way. Remember He can see the whole path ahead. Are you willing to trust Him?

With God on your team, you can overcome anything.
