The Basement will hold Nights of Worship weekly each Saturday, with fellowship at 5:30 p.m. and worship at 6:30 p.m. The Basement is located at 903 D South Wall Street in Calhoun, beside Family Dollar Store.
Oostanaula Baptist Outreach Ministry will be open on the third Saturday of each month, taking donations for food and clothing.
Oakman Baptist Church will have their monthly OVERFLOW Community Kitchen & Pantry open the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 5 to 6 p.m. They will be providing a meal and community fellowship, as well as food and other essential items to help meet needs of people in the community. There is a new Anglican church in formation for the Whitfield/Gordon county area. This new mission parish will be affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America through the Anglican Diocese of the South. A place and time of gathering is being determined based on replies. Snow Springs Baptist Church, located at 221 Old Hwy 140, Adairsville, GA 30103, will be having Paw Camp ( Praise and Worship Camp) for ages Pre-k thru high school. June 21 - 22 from 7 - 9 p.m., June 23 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., June 24 at 11 a.m. Pastor Doug Maddox invited everyone to attend.
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Fairmount will be having Homecoming Sunday, July 22, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Revival will be held July 21 - 28; 6 p.m. Sunday evening and 7 p.m. nightly. Visiting preacher is Bro. Tim Chatham.
Resaca Assembly of God will be having their homecoming on Sunday, July 22 at 10:30 a.m. Joey Kelly will be the guest preacher. Everyone invited.
A revival will be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church, located at 93 Pine Grove Road SE across from the main entrance of Dellinger Park in Cartersville, July 23 - 27. The services will start each night at 7 p.m. Brother Joel Alexander will be preaching Monday through Wednesday and Brother Kenneth Stepp will be preaching on Thursday and Friday. Everyone is invited to attend. The Pastor is J. Clinton Green and the choir Director is Don Cowart.
New Zion Church will have revival from July 22 - 25, beginning at 7 p.m. each evening. Monday, July 23: Brother Steve Smith; Tuesday, July 24: Brother Ryan Sanford; Wednesday, July 25: Brother Andrew Corbin. Rev. Steve Corban welcomes everyone.

Maple Grove Baptist Church, located at 4006 Maple Grove Road in Resaca, will be holding VBS beginning Wednesday, July 25 and running through Friday, July 27, from 6 - 9 p.m. each night. Dinner will be provided each night starting at 6 p.m. VBS theme is Pool Party. Come join in the fun!! Learn about the ULTIMATE LIFE GUARD. “Kids Bash” will be assisting families on Saturday, July 28 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at BB&T Park in downtown Calhoun. School supplies, clothes, shoes, free kids haircuts, etc. There will be fun games, activities and food for the entire family. For more information, contact Sherry at 678-767-0071.
