Plainville Church of God of Prophecy, 3348 Riverbend Road Southwest, will host a New Year’s Eve watch night service with Quinton Mills at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the New Year with us. Admission is free. We will receive a love offering.
The Basement, 903 D S. Wall St., will host a New Year’s Eve worship service from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be a musical performance by Fire and a Hilltop.
The North Georgia General Missionary Baptist Association will hold First Saturday Fellowship Service with Pastor Steve Caldwell and Mount Olive Baptist Church, 17 E. Pennington Ave. in Rome, on Jan. 5 at 9:45 a.m. Classes available for all age groups. All association churches are asked to be in attendance and bring your youth.

♦ The Basement will hold Nights of Worship weekly each Saturday, with fellowship at 5:30 p. m. and worship at 6:30 p.m. The Basement is located at 903 D South Wall St. in Calhoun, beside the Family Dollar store.
♦ Oostanaula Baptist Outreach Ministry will be open on the third Saturday of each month, taking donations for food and clothing. The ministry is located at 156 Old Rome Dalton Road.

♦ There is a new Anglican church in formation for the Whitfield/Gordon County area. This new mission parish will be affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America through the Anglican Diocese of the South. A place and time of gathering is being determined based on replies. ♦ City of Refuge Calhoun is sponsoring Celebrate Recovery sessions starting Jan. 1. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program for all of life’s hurts, habits, and hangups.
