Family-School Partnership Award: Excellence in Communications

During Family Engagement month in November, Gordon County Schools asked for nominations for teachers who go the second mile when communicating with parents and families of their students.

Over 160 nominations were submitted for teachers who exceed the standard in parent-teacher communication through regular, two-way and meaningful communication involving their students’ academic learning.

Through these nominations, teachers received recognition at their school before the holiday break, and their outstanding communication strategies will be shared with other teachers across the district.
