Pine Grove Baptist Church in Cartersville is having a revival through Friday, Aug. 2, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The evangelist is Joey Phillips. A special singing will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 6 p.m. with special singers Barry Rowland and Deliverance. The church is located at 93 Pine Grove Road S.E., Cartersville.

Everyone is invited to Wesley Chapel Methodist Church on the evening of Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. to enjoy a program of gospel music presented by the Davis Brothers Trio of Rome. After the singing there will be a covered-dish supper. The church is located at 279 Wesley Chapel Road S.E., Calhoun, off of Highway 53 near the Sonoraville Recreation Complex.
The Women’s Auxiliary of the North Georgia General Missionary Baptist Association will have their 2019 annual women’s revival at Lovejoy Baptist Church, 436 Branham Ave., Rome, Aug. 19-21 at 7 p.m. each night. Evangelist Julia P. Russell of Thankful Baptist Church will be the speaker. All are asked to join us for the spoken word of God.

There is a new Anglican church in formation for the Whitfield/Gordon County area. This new mission parish will be affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America through the Anglican Diocese of the South. A place and time of gathering is being determined based on replies. City of Refuge Calhoun is sponsoring Celebrate Recovery sessions every Tuesday. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program for all of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
