Gospel in the Mountains will take place Saturday, July 11, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Tails
Creek Community Building, 75 Cross Road Church Road in Ellijay. The free event will include fellowship and a dinner. Calvary Baptist Church, 146 Bayview Drive, Sugar Valley, will host The Dove Quartet of Rome on Sunday, July 12, at 11 a.m.
Victory Fellowship Center will hold its annual School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. Due to COVID-19 concerns, reservations must be made in order to attend and receive supplies. Anyone wishing to receive supplies may call or text 706-3837491 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to make a reservation by Wednesday, July 2.

A gospel singing benefit concert will be held at the Resaca Community Building on Walker Street on Saturday, Aug. 15, from noon to 6 p.m. The event will feature gospel singing, a cake walk, door prizes, games, face painting and $6 chicken and vegetable plates with drink and dessert. Proceeds will benefit True House of Deliverance Church Pastor Ronnie and Cindy Pope. For more information, call 706-6717988.

Calhoun Church of Christ, 1301 Dews Pond Road S.E., will host a free Sunday supper every second and fourth Sunday of the month, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The Basement will hold Nights of Worship weekly each Saturday, with fellowship at 5:30 p.m. and worship at 6:30 p.m. The Basement is at 903D S. Wall St. in Calhoun.
Oostanaula Baptist Outreach Ministry will be open on the third Saturday of each month, taking donations for food and clothing. The outreach ministry is located at 156 Old Rome Dalton Road.

There is a new Anglican church in formation for the Whitfield/ Gordon County area. This new mission parish will be affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America through the Anglican Diocese of the South. A place and time of gathering is being determined based on replies. City of Refuge Calhoun is sponsoring Celebrate sessions every Tuesday. Celebrate is a Christ-centered program for all of life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups.
