Georgia WR Robertson transferri­ng to Auburn

Former five-star wide receiver Demetris Robertson is transferri­ng from Georgia to SEC rival Auburn for his final season of eligibilit­y.

He made the announceme­nt Thursday on social media.

Robertson caught 42 passes for 443 yards and three touchdowns in three seasons at Georgia (2018-20) after hauling in 57 passes for 837 yards and seven scores in parts of two seasons at Cal (2016-17).

A five-star member of the football recruiting class of 2016, Robertson was ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 13 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite.

Robertson will get a chance to face his former Bulldogs teammates when Georgia visits Jordan-Hare Stadium on Oct. 9.
