MOYER, Sue

Sue Moyer, 92 of Calhoun, GA formally of Marietta, GA died Saturday, October 30, 2021. Visitation will

be Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carmichael Funeral Home Marietta, GA with Graveside services to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Cheatham Hill Cemetery, Marietta, GA with Dr. Don Mason officiating.

She was born in Pennington Gap, VA to Worley Otis Dean and Florence Ida Jeanette Scarborough Dean. She graduated from St. Charles High School in St. Charles, VA. After graduation she attended Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Lynchburg, VA where she became a Registered Nurse. She moved to Smyrna, GA in 1965 and lived in Cobb County until her move to Calhoun in 2016. She retired from Wellstar Cobb after 25

years of service. She was a member of the Sandy Plains Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward B. “Bud” Moyer and brother Glenn Dean. She is survived by 2 sons Ed Moyer and wife Lori of Calhoun, GA and Mason Moyer and wife Jennifer of

White, GA, 3 Grandchildren Paige Moyer of Woodstock, GA, Rachel Johnson and Husband Brad of Calhoun, GA and Adam Moyer and

wife Jeni of Mt. Pleasant, SC, 5 Greatgrandchildren Cameron, Isaiah, Madeline, Harrison and Kelley Anne,

brother - Wayne Dean wife Judy of Lexington, KY, Sisters Jeri Lee Leeper husband Earl of Parowan, UT and Gay Federico of Turner, OR. and many nieces and nephews.
