Domestic Violence Outreach will host a free community education class, Friday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m., at the Calhoun Gordon County Library, 100 N. Park

Ave. The topic will be teaching children about healthy relationsh­ips.

Heritage Baptist Church Youth will host a their 2nd Annual Tennis Tournament, Nov. 13 through 19, at the Calhoun Tennis Center with proceeds going toward Heritage Youth Summer Camp. First 20 people to sign up win a prize. Cost is $35 per individual.

Calhoun’s VFW Post 5376, 406 W. Line St., will host a free veterans BBQ dinner, Saturday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post pavilion. All local veterans are welcome.

Harris Arts Center, 212 S. Wall St., will host its Walking in a Winter Wonderland Ladies’ Luncheon, Tuesday,

Gordon County Child Advocacy Center will host Kick Child Abuse To The Curb Kickball Tournament Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Sonoravill­e Recreation Department, 7494 Fairmount Highway, beginning at 9 a.m. The event includes food, drinks and games.
