CCCA Programs/Teachers of the Month Spotlight
Dr. Justin Lindsey, career and technical instruction teacher, is the Calhoun College and Career Academy teacher in the spotlight for October.
Lindsey has been employed by Calhoun City Schools for almost nine years. He has been happily married for seven years to his wife Emily, who is a dietitian at AdventHealth Gordon. They both enjoy all things outdoors, including running, exploring, and more. Lindsey also loves trying new foods, drinking strong coffee, and enjoying a good book.
Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in ecology and field biology at Shorter University, a Master of Education in special education at Walden University, and a Doctor of Education in school improvement at the University of West Georgia.
At CCCA, the CTI program provides a variety of support to students enrolled in Career Technical Agricultural Education classes. Our goal is to promote lifelong success and excellence to students.
Lindsey provides support to all CTAE classes. CTI students participate in the CTI Emerging Leaders Training, fall leadership conference, and spring state competition and conference every year.
Lindsey states, “My favorite thing about teaching students in the CTI program at CCCA is encouraging and motivating students as they prepare for their transition into the real world.”
Congratulations to Dr. Justin Lindsey for being the CCCA program/teacher spotlight for October.
