The GEM Theatre presents comedian James Gregory on Saturday, Nov. 27, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 and $50 and are on sale now at calhoungem­theatre.org.

Festival of Trees runs now through Dec. 5, at the Harris Arts Center, 212

S. Wall St. Admission is free during the center’s regular hours.

Samantha Lusk & Associates Realty, 208 N. River St., will host Let’s Keep Gordon Warm, Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 3 to 7 p.m. The free event will include profession­al photograph­ers, Santa and two reindeer, treats, hot cocoa, elves and other family activities. New and gently used coats, jackets, socks, blankets, scarves and gloves will be accepted.

United Way of Gordon County will hold its “Claus for a Cause” event, Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m., downtown at the Depot, 109 S. King St. The suggested minimum donation is $10 per family. The event will include live Christmas music, holiday crafts and story time, as well as a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Plainville Christmas Parade will be held downtown, Thursday, Dec. 2, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Harris Arts Center presents “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree” with the Hare Boys, Friday, Dec. 3.

The City of Fairmount will host Christmas with Santa and tree lighting at the downtown square on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event features music, photos with Santa as well as free hot drinks.

Calhoun Moose Lodge, 329 Prater Lake Road, will host Cookies with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m.
