United Way just short of donation goal
As 2021 winds down, the United Way of Gordon County is within reach of their 2022 fundraising goal.
United Way is looking to raise around $750,000 dollars for 2022, and they have just about reached it. The local chapter is at 95% of their goal, and they’re looking for one final push to cross the finish line.
“Every amount matters, whether big or small,” said Chris Hayes, Director of Donor Relations and Strategy.
Anyone interested in donating to United Way of Gordon
County can do so by mailing a check to P.O. Box 486 in Calhoun, stopping by the Calhoun Depot, or by visiting gordoncountyunitedway.org/give.
Companies can also get
involved by starting workplace campaigns that allow for pre-tax donations straight out of paychecks. Anyone interested can call 706-602-5546 or email info@ gordoncountyunitedway.org.
