Heritage Baptist Church, 345 Curtis Parkway, will display its “Road to the Resurrecti­on” live nativity scene through Saturday, Dec. 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. and lasting until around 10 p.m. nightly.

Crane Eater Community Church, 3168 Red Bud Road, will display its second annual drive-thru live nativity again Saturday, Dec. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. each night.

The annual Dana Patterson Memorial Christmas Concert is set for Saturday, Dec. 18, at the GEM Theatre, 114 N. Wall St., beginning at 7 p.m. General admission $18.69.

Oakman Baptist Church, 2706 Old Highway 411, Oakman, will present “Christmas Comes To Detroit Louie” on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Tommy Phillips welcomes everyone.

Calhoun’s VFW Post 5373, 406 W. Line St., will host a New Year’s Eve party, Friday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. for all local veterans and their guests.

ONGOING Gordon County Schools: children ages 0-21 are entitled to a free education,

and that includes children with physical, mental or emotional problems. Some of these children are not identified. Please help us locate and identify them. The Renis Barrett VFW Post 5376, 406 W. Line St., will hold a veterans outreach breakfast the last Saturday of each month, from 8 to 10 a.m., in the event hall. The free breakfast is open to all local veterans.

Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library, 100 N. Park Ave., has resumed Noni’s Nook Story Time for children of all ages each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Children can sing, hear stories and participat­e in crafts. All aspects of in-person programmin­g are subject to change based on health crisis guidelines and procedures.

Harris Arts Center, 212 S. Wall St., hosts Toddler Friday the second Friday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with hands-on art, story time and music. Cost per child is $7 for the first, and $5 for each additional child. For more informatio­n, call 706-629-2599.
