Tallatoona Community Action Partnership is now taking applications for its LIHEAP Cooling Assistance program for senior households 65 years of age and older. Oostanaula School Community Club will host a benefit, April 2, with a meal of fried chicken, ham, sides, dessert and drink beginning at 5 p.m. Plates are $8, and music will be Shady Branch and Highway 411. There will also be cake walks and door prizes.
Calhoun VFW Post 5376, 406 W. Line St., will host bingo Sunday, April 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Calhoun Elk’s Lodge, 143 Craigtown Road, will host “Sip and
