American Legion Riders Post 47, 401 W Line St., will present its 2023 Sweetheart Dance Saturday, Feb. 18 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the American Legion Meeting Hall featuring DJ Duck Valley. New Echota State Historic Site, 1211 Highway 225, will host its Star Program Saturday, Feb. 18, from 7 to 8 p.m., a special program about the night sky. Visitors can view the sky through a telescope while learning about planisphere operations, constellations and traditional Cherokee star lore.
