Mandy spent his adult life working for Amalgamaed Clothing & Textile Workers Union battling to better working conditions and wages for the working man/woman. He fought tirelessly from picket lines to boardrooms and courts, he gave it his all. He spent his later years following his grandkids to their ballgames, teaching them how to play ball, teaching them how to be good stewards and good people. He was a role model and hero to a lot of people with his quick wit and larger-than-life personality. He never did anything for anyone looking for payback, he always took care of the people in his life and he was one of the most loving and selfless and adored humans to ever Grace this earth. His wishes were for his family and close friends to have a Celebration of Life (party - his words) and not to have a formal service. He wanted people to celebrate and enjoy his life and remember him with happiness and to dwell on the good times they shared with him. We will release the time and date for that at a later time. His family wishes to thank family members, his Sugar Valley crew, his friends and community members for the love and prayers during this time. Please know that he loved and appreciated you all.
