Resaca Assembly of God, 904 Resaca LaFayette Road, will host its annual Easter dinner and egg hunt Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a meal, egg hunt, games, and praise.

Gordon County Christian Ministeria­l Alliance will host its annual sunrise service at Calhoun City Park downtown Sunday, April 9, at 7 a.m. In case of rain, the service will be held in the nearby First United Methodist Church sanctuary. Georgia-Cumberland Academy pastor David Smith will deliver the sermon.

Evergreen Baptist Church of Gordon County will host a sunrise service Sunday, April 9, at 7:00 a.m., at Fidelle Cemetery, or at Evergreen Church if raining. Pastor Jerome Silvers invites all to attend.

American Legion Post 47, 401 W. Line St., will host its Lasagna Dinner Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or until it’s gone). Plates are $9 each and include lasagna, salad, bread and dessert. Proceeds benefit the American legion Riders community service programs for local veterans and their families.
