Craneeater Community Church will host its “Keepers of the Kingdom” Vacation Bible School” July 10 through 15, each night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Classes will be available for pre-K through middle school and adults (high school students will serve as helpers). The University of Georgia Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Georgia Association of Conservation Districts will host a Composting Workshop Tuesday, July

New Echota State Historic Site, 1211 Chatsworth Highway, will host Georgia Wildlife Resource Division’s Katrina Morris Saturday, July 22, from 3 to 4 p.m., for a special program about the ecology of the state’s native bat species. Admission is $6-$8.
