Gordon County Saddle Club will host its annual Saddle Up for St. Jude Trail Ride Saturday, Sept. 30, at Dry Creek Trails in Armuchee with registration at 9 a.m., and ride at 10 a.m. A $10 gift donation per rider is requested for the 2.5-hour ride with lunch to follow.
New Echota State Historic Site, 1211 Chastworth Highway, will host its Star Program Saturday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Ga. Highlands professors Robert Young and Mark Pergrem will present a program about the night sky, including information about the Oct. 14 solar eclipse. The area Boys & Girls Clubs are hosting their
17th annual Gordon County Golf Tournament

Homecoming Parade
