PawSox to stage first-ever “Moonlight Madness” & “Daylight Savings” events this weekend

PAWTUCKET — The Pawtucket Red Sox will put 2016 single game tickets on sale at their first-ever “PawSox Moonlight Madness” baseball festival at McCoy Stadium on Friday, January 15 from 6-9 p.m., and “PawSox Daylight Savings” on Saturday, January 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hospitalit­y events are free and open to fans of all ages. All tickets will remain at 2015 prices when purchased in advance.

The first opportunit­y to purchase 2016 single game tickets begins Friday at 6 p.m., both at the Box Office and on line at pawsox.com.

The events include Red Sox star centerfiel­der and PawSox alumnus Jackie Bradley, Jr., who will be available for photos and autographs both days, and PawSox pitching coach Bob Kipper and radio broadcaste­r Will Flemming, who will meet fans and provide tips in their respective fields. Hot dogs, popcorn, chips, and refreshmen­ts will also be free.

Mascots Paws and Sox will be there to greet fans in the clubhouse, and the three Red Sox World Series trophies and other artifacts will be on hand for fans to see and photograph.

Fans can enjoy special savings at both events. The PawSox Daylight Savings Package ($40) includes a box seat to three premium games: Opening Night April 7 vs. Buffalo at 7:05 pm; the popular July 3 Fireworks Spectacula­r vs. Columbus at 6:05 pm; and the fireworks show September 4 at 6:05 pm vs. Buffalo.

This package’s Opening Night ticket will also be loaded with $5 of free ballpark credit for concession­s and merchandis­e.

Moonlight Madness and Daylight Savings will feature a walk down the PawSox’ Hall of History, visits to private suites, and the opportunit­y to throw off the mound in the PawSox indoor pitching tunnel.

Fans can partake of refreshmen­ts and participat­e in various family-friendly baseball activities.

After the Moonlight Madness event from 6-9 pm, the PawSox Box Office will reopen at 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets will be available via pawsox.com when Moonlight Madness begins. Beginning January 19, tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling the PawSox at (401) 724-7300.

Box Seats are again priced at $13, Adult General Admission tickets are $9, and General Admission tickets for both Children (aged 12 & under) and Senior Citizens remain at $6.

PawSox Box Seat Season Tickets are priced at $700 each (a savings of 25 percent off the box office price) and include exclusive events. Group, flex, and other packages, including the team’s popular new “PawSox Mini-Plans,” are also currently available.
